As I sit at my computer and attempt to work, I can hear the nearby high school's drumline practicing. It's making me miss this:

One Month to Kickoff

Let's get pumped, shall we?

No, not THAT M&M

If you're sitting at a table with surgeons having dinner and one poses the question:

"What kind of M&Ms have y'all had lately?"

And you think to yourself:

"Hmmm...that's kind of an unusual question, but I did just try the new pretzel M&Ms last night."

Before you volunteer that info out loud, keep this in mind: They are not interested in your chocolate-covered candies. They want to know about Morbidity & Mortality.

I, on the other hand, am more than happy to discuss chocolates. And, like I told my dining companions, the new pretzel M&Ms are pretty good.
