I'm Still Here

Yes, I'm still here, but swamped with no time to post. To satisfy my faithful readers (all two of you—hi, mom and JAB's dad!), here are a few random comments that I'm stringing together to equal a blog post.

1. Work is busy. Really busy. Speaking of, have you:

2. For the first time ever, I shelled out the cash for a tin of Williams-Sonoma peppermint bark. I typically just circle through one or ten times for the free samples. I love that stuff. My bark, purchased on Saturday, is quickly disappearing.

3. I went to the Georgia–Georgia Tech game after Thanksgiving. It was nice to win. Not nice to have a soggy bottom in freezing temps after the people behind me spilled their drink and didn't tell me.

4. Interesting that the Gators hired a Bulldog to be their coach.

5. Matthew is preparing for fellowship interviews, which start next month. What does that mean? Another move, sometime in 2012.

6. I don't have a Christmas tree and may not have time to mail cards. I apologize in advance for my lack of correspondence.

7. I think it's HILARIOUS that the Nerds will be playing their bowl game in Shreveport.

8. On my Christmas wish list: an electrician. Know a good one?

9. Santa still isn't bringing Matthew a puppy.

10. "Slim again in 2010": Though Matthew came up with a good motto for this past year, we fell short of our goal. Turns out, eating peppermint bark and watching reality TV doesn't burn many calories. We've readjusted our goal, and Matthew has declared we'll be "Losing seven in 2011." I clarified the rules and he said the seven is cumulative, so we don't have to each lose seven pounds.

That's all for now. Hope to be back blogging soon.
