Easter Weekend 2010

Things sure have been busy around here! Last weekend, we had the pleasure of playing host to Nathan, Kerri, and our nephews Landon and Brenner. We did our best to show them the sights of Shreveport and to celebrate Easter weekend. Here's a rundown of things.

We went to the Barksdale Air Force Museum and checked out the planes.

We dyed and decorated monster-themed Easter eggs.

We got a little silly sometimes.

We had a few bad hair days.

We were cute.

We got spiffed up for church on Sunday.

We hunted Easter eggs.

The front yard didn't offer many hiding spots, but this one proved to be trickier than we thought.

Finally, Brenner found it. But since it looked like a football, he decided to throw it.

Landon found the most eggs.

Because of our limited hiding spots, Matthew allowed us to hide one egg on him.

Brenner did a great job hunting, too.

I think this egg was shaped like a dinosaur's head.

We blew bubbles. (And we should have swept the pollen off the front porch again.)
We had a picnic and tried really hard to fly a kite. Finally, we had a little success but I don't have photographic evidence.

We were exhausted—but we were also so happy to have them visit!
