Yesterday, Georgia Claire turned one month old! She is a pretty happy baby. She gets the hiccups a lot, but they never seem to really bother her. She sleeps really well at night and is growing like she should. She loves to have daddy sing to her and she especially loves taking a nap on his chest each night. During the day, we sing songs, read books, run errands and take walks and naps. Bath time is kind of hit or miss. Sometimes she's okay with it and other times she is a little fussy but never terrible. She does, however, love to poop in her bath, which means more for mommy to clean up!
At her doctor's visit on Monday, she weighed 9 pounds, 9 ounces, which was a huge surprise to me. I expected her to weigh just under 9 pounds, so she gained more than even the doctor expected. That gives me some peace of mind because I've been really stressed about feeding her.
She may not always love tummy time, but she's quite good at it! The doctor said her head and neck control is that of a two month old. We're not surprised that she's already so advanced!
It's so amazing how much life can change in just a month's time. We love this precious girl to pieces!
