The Name? I'll Explain.

I'm not cool enough for Facebook, but I am self-indulgent enough for a blog, so I'm trying it out. As for the name, I owe thanks to Matthew and Jamie. See, when we go to a restaurant and the hostess can't understand the name Heaton as she's taking our name for the waiting list, Matthew says: "You know, it's like 'Turn the HEAT ON.'" He thinks it's terribly clever and I think it's funny. Jamie pointed out that it would be a good blog name because not only is it one of our sayings but this blog is the Heatons' take on Louisiana, thus The HeatOn Louisiana.
