You Might Be A Redneck If ...

your refrigeration system involves 50 pounds of ice, three coolers, and an ortho book to weigh down the lid.

Our LG refrigerator has been acting up for more than month. The defrost something-or-other wasn't working right. First we were told there was a recall, but when we called LG they said there wasn't. Then we were told it would cost more than $400 to fix it and that the new part would only be warranted for 90 days (way to believe in your product LG!). If we're just putting on the same part, which has a history of this problem, wouldn't the odds be good it'd break down again? Three canceled repair appointments later, the fridge finally has the necessary new part. Thankfully, the repair guy called LG back and haggled with them. Technically there wasn't a recall but there was an upgrade. So thanks to David at Twin City Appliance we wound up getting it for free. Nice repairman, huh? Now, however, so much ice has built up that we have to leave the fridge unplugged for at least 24 hours. But we're working with what we've got.

I'm glad the fridge is repaired. Also, people like your repairman make you realize there ARE still nice folks in the world. However, I am concerned about your lack of good reading material. Need some good books?
